This junior program is designed for those juniors who have yet learned how to rally. It's mission is to give all juniors the necessary fundamentals and skill sets needed to participate in matchplay and/or competition. The curriculum is a progressive one using court positions to properly teach the techniques of all strokes :
"As the kids get better the court gets bigger".
To Ensure a quality and safe learning environment we will be adhering strictly to a 6:1 student to instructor ratio. With our GRIPpers ages 6 or below (Munchies), we may have two coaches on court with 10 kids (5:1 ratio). We have discovered that we are able to teach more and have them really enjoy the experience with these numbers. They allow us to effectively teach techniques and tailor the games to the attention span of these students.
The staff for the Gripper program includes, but is not limited, to : Andrea Gonzalez, Jann Dunlap, Charlotta Larsen, Scott VanSon, and George Tate.
All parents will no longer need to fill out a form, worry about placement, or having a spot in the Winter & Spring Sessions with our Future Enrollment Plan. By checking the box in the payment information section of the registration form and using a credit card or membership number to pay, your child(ren) will be automatically guaranteed his/her spot for Winter (Dec 7th - March 5th) and Spring (March 15th - June 11th).
The Credit Card or Membership # on file will NOT be charged until the last week of priority registration. For the Winter it is the week of November 1st and the Spring will be the week of February 14th.
Checking the box does NOT commit your child(ren) to participate in all three sessions. It just simplifies the process of enrollment for both parties. At any time before the priority registration deadline for the upcoming session you may cancel your enrollment without charge or penalty
